Corn Refiners Seek Rebranding of Corn Syrup (September 2010): The nation’s corn refiners are seeking to rebrand the ingredient "high-fructose corn syrup." In a filing to the Food and Drug Administration, the Corn Refiners Association has asked permission to change the syrup’s name to "corn sugar." High-fructose corn syrup has been cited as a key factor in human health problems.

In 1995, long before Global Warming was on anyone's watch list, Charles Little wrote a book called The Dying of the Trees, in order to warn the public that a massive decline in tree health and deaths were being seen across the United States. This book is worth its weight in gold as a resource because it documents not only the decline but causes of this decline.
Today Global Warming and Climate Change is being blamed for all tree deaths and tree declines. However, the story is much deeper and the causes more profound. It is easy to lay the problem on climate change and global warming because the public will repeat this mantra and not take action to stop the dying of the trees. Armed with this book and other information tree decline can be slowed and the real culprits can be easily identified and stopped in their tracks.
It is time that we stopped blaming all of our problems on global warming and climate change and take a look at the real culprits and the real threats to tree health. Global warming and climate change are becoming the mantra for scientists and others who want to take the easy way out...and not solve the real problems that are causing tree deaths.

Environmental Protection Agency
The California Environmental Protection Agency operates under the U.S. EPA and also the strict laws of the State of California. Thus, under laws passed by the residents of California we have laws that protect the public better than other states and our California EPA website has to provide more information to the public under the California Public Records Act than is required in other states. I encourage everyone, when looking for information about herbicides, insecticides, pesticides, chemicals in water, health effects, and other information to use this site.

Many people in the United States and in other countries know about the Alaska High Altitude Auroral Research Program. The majority of the work that is conducted at this site using radio waves and high frequency antennas is classified. And yet, this atmospheric experimental geoengineering program has been ongoing since the early 1990s. The U.S. patents are available online and some of the research. There is a lot to learn about these projects and some of the information and links can be found on this site.
This is a current events health section which covers a wide variety of health issues being reported in the news or by government agencies. It does not cover all health issues but is a reminder that we are introducing new health problems into our environment and we should be aware of those issues in order to protect our children and grandchildren.
In this section you will find information on honey bees and other pollinators that are in sharp decline in the United States and around the world. This critical issue is already leading to a drop in some types of food production. The consequences will be devastating to food supplies unless we identify the reason for these losses and take immediate action to reverse these declines.

NASA has become more and more another branch of the military services due to public funding cuts. Now, with more cuts planned, military budgets will be asked to fund NASA behind closed doors. President Obama has made it his policy to revitalize nuclear power. In addition, the new Climate/Jobs/Energy Bill that Senators Kerry, Boxer (S1733), Graham and Lieberman will be introducing in April 2010, will streamline and fund not only nuclear power plants, but also promote coal and oil industries, and allow offshore oil drilling (no regulations of greenhouse gases until 2017-2010). Any Carbon Tax will go toward these polluting industries, especially nuclear power which is now being funded through the U.S. Energy Department under former Lawrence Livermore Laboratory Director, U.S. Energy Secretary Chu.
It is time that we revisit the problems with nuclear waste, the pollution from uranium mining, the increasing dependence of the United States on foreign sources of uranium. In addition, Energy Secretary Chu has started making agreements with foreign countries to import nuclear waste (Italy 2009 agreement). If the problem is solved why do we have to import this waste, process it, and then have it put into disposal sites here for permanent storage? Under this policy the United States will become the nuclear waste dump for the rest of the world. It is time to take a look at these issues and to put a stop to revitalizing a costly industry to both the enviroment and human health.

Geoengineering Schemes are already underway in our oceans. These experiments have no public or government oversight or controls. Ocean iron fertilization and other schemes using sea salt particles to make clouds brighter and more reflective or to rain out more quickly over land are already being implemented as experiments. We all have to know that there are unintended consequences of these types of experiments. However, once funded and started they are hard to stop. Information in this section is provided on the problems of ocean iron fertilization. And we do know that salt particles raining out over land will be salty and have negative impacts on drinking water and soils, possible making them unproductive.
Marine mammals are starting to suffer from bottom fishing from bottom scrapers, habitat destruction from U.S. Navy warfare testing in the Pacific, Atlantic, and the Gulf of Mexico...the list is a long one...and this section does document some of those problems.
The introduction of SMART METERS by California's Pacific Gas & Electric Company has raised public concerns about unfair monthly increases, health problems, theft of electricity, and other issues. Lawsuits have been filed regarding Smart Meters. It appears that the installation of these meters will give PG&E a windfall profits increase due to the fact that many people have already experienced sharp increases in their monthly bills after installation. Please feel free to contact the Public Utilities Commisssion in Sacramento, CA and let them know if you are having problems with your new meters due to sharply increased monthly charges on your utility bill.

There is a plan to privatize Social Security in the near future. Social Security is being blamed for our ever-increasing budget crisis. However, all of us have paid into Social Security through payroll taxes for years whereas funding for the war is from U.S. borrowed money where interest payments and ever-increasing war costs are increasing the deficit each month. Our funding of banks "too big to fail" are also increasing our deficits. American citizens paid for Social Security benefits and these benefits should not be privatized for profit and for short term stock market/wall street gains from our tax dollars.

The U.S. Navy under its CARE program is using aluminum oxide in atmospheric geoengineering experiments which began on September 19, 2010, when an aluminum oxide dust clouds was atmospherically deployed over the Eastern United States.
In addition, the Navy and the Air Force are implementing 5-year warfare testing programs in the Pacific, Atlantic, and the Gulf of Mexico (started in 2009). Some of these program have not started due to protests from citizens and groups across the U.S. According to Senators Boxer and Feinstein 11.7 million marine mammals will be "taken" or decimated, even in National Marine Sanctuaries, by sonar programs, bombing, missile detonations, toxic chemicals, toxic debris, underwater submarine warfare training...the list is a long one. Ultraviolet (UV) & Infrared Radiation
Ultraviolet and Infrared Radiation readings have been increasing across the United States in the last ten years. The increases required the EPA in 2003, to raise the "Extreme" UV readings from 11+ to 15+ due to these increases. Infrared Radiation (it is when you feel the heat on your arms as being intense even when ambient temperatures are not the warm), is also increasing unnaturally at times. Our atmospheric experiments invovling NASA, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Navy could be one of the reasons that these extreme readings have been increasing in recent years. A full investigation is needed in this area due to tree declines from increased heat and crops that suffer from heat burns.
The Heath Benefits from Vitamin D are enormous. Lack of Vitamin D from direct sunlight is being reduced by man-made clouds and haze. Many corporations and individuals are purchasing public water systems and turning them into private enterprises for profit not only in the United States but around the world. In the new language of the future water is thought of as a commodity, like oil, where huge profits can be made by private corporations. The impact of these programs has increased water prices in many areas so high that agriculture crop producers and cattlemen no longer can afford to be in business. Water wars are in our future and we have to be ever vigilant to protect our public water sources from those who would privatize them and sell back to the public for huge profits or redirect the water from one location to another. Some companies take local water supplies, bottle the water, and sell this product to other countries depriving local residents of enough water to supply their own needs at reasonable prices. Rationing of water is also on the horizon as private companies move water sources away from the source for sales and profits elsewhere.
Unregulated Weather Modification is ongoing across the United States and in many foreign countries. The implication of these programs and new legislation (U.S. Senate Bill 601), if passed, could have broad implication in the future. Anyone may modify your weather without your consent, congressional or public oversight, knowledge or consent. Any weather modification method may be used, any particle or chemical, any atmospheric testing program, and any mitigation measure without your knowledge or consent. Any corporation, private company, individual, our military, any state, county or city may conduct experiments. It is time to bring these programs to light and to restrict their usage and who may modify your weather or the climate.
