Natural Gas
Welcome to the Natural Gas Section of the ADC Website
Natural Gas Issues are Becoming Common Place Across the United States. Our Public Lands, Private Lands, Our Water & Air are likely to be Polluted from Natural Gas Fracturing Techniques.
The PDF files and the Videos below are related to the following issues:
Natural Gas Fracking Produces a Great Number of Problems & This Type of Exploitation is Designed to Produce Huge Profits:
Water, Soil & Air Pollution - Natural Gas Pipelines & Leaks - Ponzi Schemes & Stock Market Betting Aong With the Exportation of Natural Gas Produced in the United States and Shipped to Foreign Countries Like China. There are huge sums of money to be made using this process and selling Natural Gas to other countries. It should be noted that most of the Natural Gas Shipped Across the United States for Export or Fracked in the Unites States Will Not be Used to Keep U.S. Prices Lower...the companies involved are usually engaged in exploitation for huge profits.
Soon all states will have corporate leases allowing for the "taking" of natural gas without public consent. We encourage everyone to take action to protect the quality of your water, air and soils from Natural Gas Drilling. Informed citizens can make a difference in your communities and protect your most valuable natural resources from being polluted.

*NOW PBS Program on Hydraulic Fracking - GASLAND MARCH 26, 2010
"...In the debate over energy resources, natural gas is often considered a "lesser-of-evils". While it does release some greenhouse gases, natural gas burns cleaner than coal and oil, and is in plentiful supply—parts of the U.S. sit above some of the largest natural gas reserves on Earth. But a new boom in natural gas drilling, a process called "fracking", raises concerns about health and environmental risks.
This week, NOW talks with filmmaker Josh Fox about "Gasland" <http://www.gaslandthemovie.com/>, his Sundance award-winning documentary on the surprising consequences of natural gas drilling. Fox's film—inspired when the gas company came to his hometown—alleges chronic illness, animal-killing toxic waste, disastrous explosions, and regulatory missteps..."

Analysts Weigh In On New Oil Producing Technologies "...The New America Foundation hosted a panel discussion on the potential for oil development posed by new drilling technologies, and what that development means for national petroleum policies.
Panelists included government officials, industry analysts, and oil company insiders, who looked to answer two questions. One, will the new oil drilling technologies work and to what extent? And two, what will those new technologies mean for U.S. oil supplies and U.S. politics? The New America Foundation "emphasizes work that is responsive to the changing conditions and problems of our 21st Century information-age economy -- an era shaped by transforming innovation and wealth creation, but also by shortened job tenures, longer life spans, mobile capital, financial imbalances and rising inequality," according to its website..."
